Masterclass: a project dedicated to young physiatrists

Promoting training and education of future doctors to IBSA Farmaceutici means looking ahead and investing in in the resources on which tomorrow's patients will be able to rely. This idea gave rise to MASTERCLASS, an educational project dedicated to emerging talent in the physiatry sector, which has obtained sponsorship from SIMFER, the Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine. The project is reserved for students enrolled in their final years at physiatry specialization schools, and focuses on both the theory and practice of intra-articular infiltration techniques. In detail, the programme provides an online training session followed by a series of itinerant events that take place periodically at Italian Universities of Physiatry. 

This significant experience in the 2022 involved 7 university centres: from University of Pavia, the University of Milan, the Bicocca University, the Humanitas University, to the Universities of Catania, Florence and Bari, which will be the final stage of the 2022 programme. 
 

Given its success, IBSA will continue to promote the MASTERCLASS initiative throughout 2023, involving over 200 postgraduates and 12 Universities. The new stages for 2023 will involve other reputable Italian universities, such us Turin, Cagliari, Padua, Bologna and the University of Naples Federico II.
