Thanks to the efforts of Banco Alimentare’s volunteers, you will help to improve this Christmas for those who, as a result of the pandemic, are struggling to meet their basic needs.
The campaign, United4ourFuture - Take Care & Stay United, which is also supported by IBSA, is an online initiative on behalf of Banco Alimentare promoted by Edra S.p.A. and Unes Supermercati with the support of HBA Milan Chapter, in partnership with Lundbeck Italia and with the support of other private companies besides IBSA.

The pandemic crisis that we have been facing since March has unfortunately exacerbated social and economic inequality and indiscriminately affected millions of people, making them vulnerable and exposed to food insecurity and malnutrition. According to Caritas Italiana’s 2020 Report on Poverty and Social Exclusion, the “new poor”, i.e. people who are experiencing economic hardship for the first time to such a severe extent that they need to ask for help, increased by 12.7% in 2020 compared to the same period last year. Many People are experiencing economic hardship and it is our duty, as a Company and as citizens, to take concrete action to help them.
