The new Mayor of Lodi, Andrea Furegato, visited IBSA Farmaceutici

An appointment outside the formalities and institutional protocols, but important to know one of the largest companies in the Lodi area and begin to establish a relationship with it. This is the meaning of the first visit that the new Mayor of Lodi, Andrea Furegato, paid this week to IBSA Farmaceutici. Welcomed by Luca Crippa, CEO and Managing Director of the company, the meeting was an opportunity for acquaintance, as well as an opportunity for the Mayor to enter an industrial reality that today represents an excellence both in Lombardy and in Italy.

Many questions were touched upon during the visit, from aspects related to the role and economic and social value of the industry, up to extremely topical issues, from mobility to environmental and social sustainability and the many supporting projects that IBSA Farmaceutici has already implemented for the local community.

We are honored that the new Mayor of Lodi found the time to dedicate this unscheduled visit to us. The conversation with Dr. Furegato was rich in ideas and insights, and he particularly appreciated the company’s commitment to the local context through the investments IBSA has already made, the jobs created and the activities in support of the weakest that we have always been carrying on”, commented Luca Crippa on the side-lines of the meeting.

This first visit will be followed by a more formal meeting in the near future, which will bring the Mayor inside the Lodi plant and in the production departments, allowing him to see for himself IBSA’s innovation, expertise and know-how in the development of new products. However, yet another appointment has already been scheduled: Dr. Furegato was in fact invited to participate in the inauguration of the construction site for the redevelopment of the new IBSA headquarters in Lodi, scheduled for September 23.
