IBSA and Pink Is Good: together for research and women’s health

Now at its 25th edition, the Agorà International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine, which will be held in Milan from 5 to 7 October 2023, will be once again the stage of IBSA’s commitment in support of women’s health and the young generations of researchers.

Indeed, for the second consecutive year IBSA’s dermo-aesthetic division will support the project Pink is Good of the Fondazione Veronesi, rewarding the most innovative scientific work in the oncology field with a 35,000 scholarship. Over the last years, scientific research has made great progress: today, in fact, if the tumour is diagnosed at an early stage, the chances of recovery exceed 90%. But there is still much to do. And there is still so much to build, discover and implement.

Agorà

A support for science, a recognition for life

In the last edition, the recognition was attributed to a research work relating to the area of ovarian cancer; this year the prize will be instead awarded to a researcher active in the fight against breast cancer. With the support of the Pink Is Good project, IBSA aims to achieve a twofold objective: on one side, to support and activate all the necessary actions to educate and consolidate an appropriate culture of prevention, and on the other to promote the daily work of researchers in tangible ways, such as funding scholarships and projects for doctors and scientists.

In the context of the Agorà Congresscultural hub and cradle of the cross-disciplinary interaction between the leading experts in the field of Aesthetic Medicine – IBSA will confirm its commitment to promoting a new concept of authentic beauty, based on an increasingly innovative, safe and effective Aesthetic Medicine, which cures and prevents without distorting.
