IBSA at the basketball Final Eight 2022

One of the most anticipated A Series basketball events is the Final Eight which took place at Pesaro from 16 to 20 February. The best 8 teams competed at the prestigious Vitrifrigo Arena in an event that lasted 4 days from which Olimpia Milano emerged champions.

Commitment to sport is a key element in IBSA Farmaceutici's philosophy as medical sponsor to the LBA (A Series Basketball League) because playing sport means being part of the community, putting one's own heartfelt values into practice, living them every day to promoting youth education and drawing in the less young.

In this spirit the Company supported the event, the players and all the fans involved, in a match that had everyone on the edge of their seats till the very end.

Education and health awareness as well as sport exemplified this initiative thus making the event a truly excellent channel to communicate values. Indeed, #regalatevilasalute, was very much in evidence supported by the Basketball League, LBA, promoting sexual wellbeing for couples in this delicate phase of the "new normal" as a key campaign in the educational environment. Some members of the scientific board, together with the Basketball League and IBSA, had the opportunity to present to the public, especially the youth, the rationale underpinning this project providing information and education about really sensitive issues.

“This year, IBSA's visibility at the Final Eight field was truly unique”, declared Giuseppe Celiberti, Head of Commercial Department of IBSA Farmaceutici. “The Basketball world is a priority channel of communication for us because we share passion, dedication and respect. These are high-value educational principles providing the opportunity of opening dialogue with a spectator target group receptive to IBSA's core message, such as personal care and wellness, and to the introduction to the playing field complex themes like those of the #regalatevilasalute campaign, to which the Basketball League and IBSA have lent their support”.
