61 brands were awarded during the 16th Italian edition of this award. The ceremony took place on March 16 and was hosted by Germano Lanzoni, theatre artist and founder of the “Milanese Imbruttito” collective, with the participation of Simonetta Flores, CEO and promoter of the “Eletto Prodotto dell’Anno” award in Italy.
In its 34 years of existence, the “Eletto Prodotto dell’Anno” award has involved 3.5 billion consumers from more than 40 countries who every year reward the most innovative products and services.
12,000 Italian consumers expressed their opinion in the survey conducted by IRI, the company which carries out market research for the award. The data collected this year shows that 88% of consumers are aware of the award and 87% of them consider it trustworthy, confirming once more the importance of this award.
IBSA won the Product of the Year 2021 award with its IBSA Vitamin D3 product in the Vitamin D Supplements category.
IBSA Vitamin D3 is a dietary supplement of Vitamin D with a pleasant orange taste, sold as an orally dissolving film which melts in the mouth in a few seconds without water thanks to the IBSA FilmTec® technology, developed and patented in Italy by the company’s R&D team. This solution is also in line with the results of the survey conducted by IRI which showed that 85% of consumers are interested in trying innovative products and services.
