Protecting athletes’ health in every aspect: that’s the reason for IBSA Italy’s participation in the Rome International Tennis Tournament. In fact, the pharmaceutical company has always been at the side of all athletes and many tennis players, both professionals and amateurs, to help them prevent and cure all traumas and illnesses that may arise from playing sports. This year IBSA wanted to organise a conference on the issue at the Rome event, to underscore its centrality.
Top international experts in sports orthopaedics highlighted the main pitfalls and all the pathologies affecting tennis players’ joints, supporting the importance of a preventive approach and innovative conservative therapies to treat the areas most affected by erosion and injuries.
