IBSA Foundation and Leonardo Da Vinci Museum partner to talk about science and development

The partnership between IBSA Foundation and the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan continues, through the organisation of initiatives aimed at all fans of science and scientific culture. The first project, shared by the two organisations, is #storieaportechiuse (stories behind closed doors), a daily slot on social media in which some of the museum’s most beautiful stories can be told, even during this period in which it’s closed to the public. On the IBSA Foundation Facebook page, the must-see appointments in the museum’s programme schedule will be reported weekly.

The museum’s aim since its inception has been to tell stories of science, technology and industry, narrating the story of how the world came to be. This idea of a dialogue between humanism and scientific and technological culture under the banner of innovation ties in with the IBSA Foundation’s mission. The Foundation has always been committed to generating productive synergies through such dialogue.

The collaboration between the IBSA Foundation and the Milan-based museum was established last year as part of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the birth of Leonardo Da Vinci. This year, it has evolved into a fruitful scientific partnership, rooted in a shared mission to promote scientific dissemination and dialogue between science and humanistic disciplines”, said Silvia Misiti Head of Corporate Communication & CSR IBSA Group e Director of IBSA Foundation for Scientific Research.
