IBSA Farmaceutici becomes a partner of the Digital Innovation Observatories of the Politecnico di Milano

Established in 1999, today the Digital Innovation Observatories of the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano are a qualified point of reference on the subject of Digital Innovation in Italy, which integrates Research, Communication and Continuous Updating.

For IBSA Farmaceutici, innovation is a daily challenge, the core of all its activities; and for these reasons the company decided to take part in the new edition of the Digital Innovation Observatories of the Politecnico di Milano, through two important partnerships precisely focused on innovation and health:

  • IBSA Farmaceutici’s aesthetic medicine division – IBSA Derma – will participate in the research activities of the Life Science Innovation Observatory, to analyse and promote innovation, also based on digital technologies, in clinical research and in the development of new products and services in the Life Sciences field. There can be no innovation without research, and the coexistence of these two factors allows to create excellence and distinctiveness over time;
  • IBSA Farmaceutici’s commercial division will participate in the research activities of the Digital Health Observatory, which studies and promotes the role of digital technology in supporting the improvement and innovation of the healthcare system.

Both Observatories aim to develop analyses and research that can help healthcare decision makers to develop innovation, create culture and disseminate knowledge on these issues, as well as to promote opportunities for discussion and interaction between the various stakeholders, within a pre-competitive context.

The activities – which will (be implemented) between 2022 and 2023 – will include a series of closed-door workshops and will end with two final public Congresses, during which the results of the research will be presented and discussed in round tables, with the participation of the main protagonists of the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors.

Thanks to these two major collaborations with the Digital Innovation Observatories of the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano, IBSA Farmaceutici is once again committed to contributing to the development of a culture on issues related to innovation in the Health and Life Sciences ecosystem, and to taking part in meeting opportunities with the various stakeholders and actors involved.
