IBSA Farmaceutici at CPhI Worldwide 2021 in Milan: Quality and Innovation to generate Value

Fourteen years later, from 9 to 11 November, CPhI Worldwide – the world’s largest trade fair covering the entire pharmaceutical industry chain – returns to Milan. The city, with its companies, universities and research centres, will welcome all the sector’s professionals in its Fiera, for an international event that covers the entire supply chain of the pharmaceutical industry, representing the reference point for Global Pharma.

In Italy, the entire chain and its related industries form a highly innovative international network of excellence, which contributes to the economic development of the domestic territory, with a turnover of over 4.8 billion, 72 companies producing active ingredients and an export quota equal to 85%.

The return in the presence of an event of this scale plays a crucial role, because it offers the opportunity to meet in person potential business partners, customers and suppliers from all over the world.

CPhI 2021 therefore represents an extraordinary opportunity to attract new investments, as well as highly innovative production realities: 170 Countries, 1,400 companies and over 50 conferences will be the backdrop to the entire organization.

IBSA Farmaceutici will not miss the appointment: in fact, the company will participate with a welcoming and modern-looking stand, in order to meet potential partners and present its innovative technologies, organized in their respective therapeutic areas.

Starting strategic collaborations is essential in order to achieve common goals, grow internationally and expand the product portfolio, by sharing responsibilities and resources; it also represents a strong development lever for our territory, as well as a strategic asset for the entire country”, commented Luca Crippa, CEO and Managing Director of IBSA Farmaceutici.

In fact, through investments in technologies and innovation, with its R&D laboratories and production sites, IBSA contributes to € 8.2 billion worth of manufacturing exports in a region – Lombardy – which, with over € 400 million, is confirmed as the first in Italy for investments in Research and Development.

After the stop imposed by the pandemic, CPhI Worldwide, which this year reaches its thirtieth edition, will therefore be an opportunity for thousands of professionals and suppliers in the sector to get to know each other, find new business opportunities and discover the latest novelties in the field of innovation.
