DIGITAL LAB: IBSA Farmaceutici’s digital accelerator

What does innovation mean?
Despite being often defined as a spontaneous process, resulting from the creativity of a single individual, the majority of the studies and the experiences made so far confirm that innovation is “a change capable of positively altering the established order of things in order to do new ones”, through well-defined management strategies and cohesive cross-functional teams.
In addition to being one of the cornerstones of our culture, guiding research and development, in IBSA innovation also represents the natural substrate on which we work every day, to create new ideas, capable of determining a progress that knows no bounds.
In the wake of these considerations, from an idea of Dr. Luca Crippa – CEO & Managing Director – IBSA Digital LAB was born: an in-house digital accelerator which, through the use of growth hacking techniques and targeted digital marketing strategies, investigate the users’ needs while capturing their objectives in order to create innovative products.

I am really proud to drive IBSA Farmaceutici towards these new digital scenarios, and I am confident that this experience is only the beginning of a long path that we will create together”.
The team is made up of Gabriele Gatta (Digital Marketing Specialist), Marco Farci (Business Development Specialist) and Christian Crisciullo (Business Analyst).
Three young talents from IBSA Farmaceutici, who combined their skills, the strength of IBSA’s patents and technologies and the cutting-edge know-how achieved over the years, in order to transform a forward-looking and abstract idea into a concrete and winning project, that can also establish a new way of working.
The fruits reaped with the first projects – such as Leaftech, a co-design work-shop formed in partnership with the Polidesign, founded by Politenico di Milano, in order to create a new digital identity and which will be launched next week – are evidence that the road traveled so far is the right one, and that only by seizing opportunities like these – and taking chances – is it possible to make a difference.
